WhatsApp Application Data on Windows 11 Swollen? Turn This Setting Off!
So what should you do if you encounter the same problem? Well, you can do the following things:
Change Media Settings in WhatsApp App on Windows 11
Please open the WhatsApp application on Windows 11, then go to Settings > Storage, make sure automatic downloads is not in the On position.
Delete Media That Has Been Downloaded To Reduce Storage Load
Next, please go to the following directory: C:\Users\your user\AppData\Local\Packages\5319275A.WhatsAppDesktop_cv1g1gvanyjgm\LocalState\shared\transfers, then delete all the folders there.
Note:
The directory name may be different, make sure you adjust it, but generally it is located in AppData > Local > Packages > Whatsapp > LocalState > Shared > Transfer.
After deleting, the Whatsapp application data size will no longer increase, so the problem has been successfully resolved. So, I have published the tutorial itself in video form, make sure you check it too.
Hope it is useful.
